Many of my colleagues have wondered why I mainly care for Medicare Advantage patients. Years ago, we termed this group of patients as HMO or Health Maintenance Organization patients. Over the past several years Medicare Advantage memberships have boomed and now account for over 40% of patients who qualify for Medicare. Is this type of practice for you?
